As part of our ongoing commitment to Health & Safety at work, our engineers have now obtained the IPAF Access Lifter License.  By gaining this license all of our engineers working at height have received in-depth training and safety instruction, benefitting not only our engineers, but giving peace of mind to those working around them.

What is IPAF?

The Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) places a duty on the employer to provide an adequate level of training to allow employees to operate equipment safely and compentently.  Courses are approved by one of two industry authorities, thereby ensuring conformity and compliance.  The Construstion Industry Training Board under the Certificate of Training Achievement (CITB/CTA) or by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).  Both of these schemes are nationally recognised and provide a valid permit for operation for five years.
